Living Away from Home Allowance
When you purchase your FastrackOZ Starter Package you become eligible to receive the Living Away from Home Allowance.
The Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) is a tax free allowance used under law in Australia to offset additional expenses and discomfort incurred whilst living away from home for a defined period.
If you meet the legal requirements then you may be eligible to receive LAFHA whilst working in Australia on a valid Working Holiday Visa or Business Stay Visa. LAFHA is intended to compensate workers for any additional living expenses incurred for the duration of your stay in Australia and as a consequence you maximize your take home pay.
