Where do I look to find a property for sale?
The majority of housing listings are now advertised on the internet. There are a number of main stream websites where you can view properties for sale:
www.realestate.com.au
www.domain.com.au
All of Australia’s major real estate agents advertise their properties on these websites. You can also view each agent’s properties on their own respective websites as well as in person at their local offices.
Will I be able to get a mortgage in Australia?

Can I access the First Home Buyer's Grant?
The First Home Owner’s Grant is an initiative by the Australian Government that gives a one-off grant of up to AU$7000 payable to first home owners that satisfy all the eligibility criteria. The grant varies state to state generally, however, if you are a permanent resident and have not owned a property in Australia you may be eligible for this grant.
